Event Services

 

 

Parking and Transportation Services manages events on campus in order to limit and/or mitigate the impact of additional vehicle traffic on campus, while providing the event patron with clear information about parking in order to make access convenient and effective. It is the responsibility of the event host/organizer to contact Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) and make arrangements for event parking services. Access to events on campus and contributing to a positive visitor experience by adequately facilitating event parking, is a priority of Parking and Transportation Services.


Requests for event parking services must be submitted to PTS a minimum of two weeks prior to the event date. Late requests may incur additional fees or may not be able to be completed.


Note: Visitor permits are required for any type of event if it is occurring between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.


To make a request for event parking services complete and submit the Event Services - Visitor Permit Request Form to PTS via fax (208) 885-4219 or email parking@uidaho.edu.

Cancellation or change of requested event services must be made within 48 hours of the event or the full cost will remain.
