Abstract Submission

Presentation & Poster Guidelines:

Presentations.
All presentations must be saved in PowerPoint 2000 or XP(2002). All lecture halls will be set up with PCs running Windows XP and with MS Office 2000 (or better) for providing PowerPoint presentations. Bring files on CD or a USB thumb or flash drive. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE YOUR PRESENTATION AVAILABLE TO SESSION ORGANIZERS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED TALK.

We encourage you to provide a CD with your talk at registration. You will not be able to use your own laptop for your presentation. Use caution if including non-standard sound or video files in PowerPoint presentations – these may not work. Slide projectors and other AV equipment will NOT be available unless requested in advance when submitting an abstract. A preview room will be available.

Posters.
A 3’x 5’ area is available for each poster. Be sure to bring push pins to hang your poster.

Email submissions: Preferred. Abstract should be included as ASCII text in the body of email message, not as an attached file. Submit for receipt by 15 April to Cooper07@uidaho.edu.

Mailed submissions: Mail a paper copy and a disk (CD or 3.5 inch floppy) with the file formatted as ASCII, Word, or MS Word only to: COS Abstracts, Steve Knick.

The entire abstract – including author(s), address(es) and text – must not exceed 350 words.

Abstracts that are received after 15 April or do not meet these guidelines will not be accepted.
